DON'T CROSS CHRIST OUT OF CHRISTMAS
~ t o  d o w n l o a d  r i g h t - c l i c k  h e r e ~

NARRATION
And it came to pass in those days that there went out a decree
From Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed
And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city
And Joseph also went up from Galilee out of the city of Nazareth

FIRST VERSE
Another Christmas season is upon us now
And I'm amazed how fast the years roll by
But there's so much more we need to understand
And now the time is drawing nigh
So my wish for everyone this year
Is to receive this gift of love
And celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord
Who was sent to us from God above

CHORUS
Don't cross Christ out of Christmas
He's the reason for the season
God's gift to you and me
When the wisemen followed the star down to Bethlehem
It was the Christ-child that they came to see

NARRATION
And she brought forth her firstborn son
And wrapped him in swaddling clothes
And laid him in a manger
Because there was no room for them at the inn
And there were in the same country
Shepherds abiding in the field
Keeping watch over their flock by night

SECOND VERSE
Have a Merry Christmas everyone
Peace be with you I wish you all the best
Let's keep our thoughts on that baby in the manger
And then we're truly blessed

CHORUS
Don't cross Christ out of Christmas
He's the reason for the season
God's gift to you and me
When the wisemen followed the star down to Bethlehem
It was the Christ-child that they came to see

NARRATION
Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes
Lying in a manger
And suddenly there was with the angel
A multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying
Glory to God in the highest and on earth
Peace, good will toward men

CHORUS
Don't cross Christ out of Christmas
He's the reason for the season
God's gift to you and me
When the wisemen followed the star down to Bethlehem
It was the Christ-child that they came to see

(narration from 2nd chapter of Luke)
